Helen Gelly, MD

Helen Gelly, MD
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

 

Dr. Gelly has been involved in hyperbaric medicine and wound care since 1991. Past positions have included Medical Directorships at academic and community hyperbaric medicine and wound care programs. She started a non-hospital affiliated hyperbaric medicine center which was one of the first UHMS accreditated centers. She has been actively involved in billing and reimbursement issues for both facilities and physicians. Until recently, she was the Medical Director of Hyperbaric Physicians of Georgia, a group of physicians dedicated to the practice of hyperbaric medicine and wound healing, with 5 subspecialty boarded physicians in its membership. In addition to lecturing nationally on hyperbaric medicine and wound healing for many years, she was the presidient of the Gulf Coast Chapter of the UHMS from 2005-2007. Currently, she serves as the Emeritus Medical Director of Hyperbaric Physicians of Georgia, and as C.E.O. for HyperbaRXs.

 

Dave Reich, C.O.O.

Dave Reich
CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

 

Dave has over 30 years of technical diving, clinical nursing, and senior management experience in hyperbaric medicine and problem wound management. Dave spent a combined 14 years in the United States Navy as a mixed-gas deep sea diver. After his military service he obtained his bachelors degree in nursing from Grossmont College in San Diego while functioning as a technician and manager of the hyperbaric program for the University of California Medical Center (UCSD), a Level-One Trauma Center. Dave spent the following 3 years working as a clinical nurse in the ICU/CCU at UCSD. In 1997, Dave was hired by Diversified Clinical Services where he fulfilled many senior management roles, ultimately as Vice President of Operations until his departure in 2008. Dave is currenctly the C.O.O. of HyperbaRXs.

 

David Schwegman, MD

Dr. Schwegman graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 1998, completed his residency at The Ohio State University in 2001 and served as Chief Resident in 2000-2001. He joined the faculty at Emory University and served as Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine from 2001-2008. Dr. Schwegman joined Hyperbaric Physicians of Georgia in 2009, and worked as an Emergency Physician for Northside Emergency Associates since 2008. In 2010, Dr. Schwegman became the Chief Medical Director of Hyperbaric Physicians of Georgia, and is also the Chief Medical Officer of HyperbaRXs, Inc.

 

Moira Hayes

VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS

 

Moira has been working exclusively within the wound care and hyperbaric industry since 1992. She held a series of executive positions with outsourced wound care and hyperbaric management companies prior to starting her own consulting firm in 2007. Moira joined the HyperbaRXs, Inc. team in July of 2009, and leads the consulting service line for the company. She holds a baccalaureate degree in Biology from Northeastern University and a Master of Health System Administration from the University of Houston. She is also a Registered Respiratory Therapist and a Certified Hyperbaric Technologist.

 

Catherine Gullatte

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING & ADVERTISING

 

Catherine has been involved in the field of hyperbaric oxygen therapy for over 13 years, particularly in the areas of contracting, billing, clinical hyperbaric medicine and quality assurance. She has extensive experience in all aspects of marketing and reimbursement issues. She received a bachelor's degree in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix. Prior to joining HyperbaRXs in 2007, she was instrumental in the development and success of a profitable non-affiliated hyperbaric center that treated both accepted and investigational indications. In addition to overseeing the organizational marketing and advertising program, she has also teamed with the consulting division of HyperbaRXs, Inc. to provide leadership and guidance to clients in the hyperbaric medicine industry.

 

Bret Holliday

Bret Holliday
SAFETY AND TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

 

Bret is responsible for the day to day safe operations of all of the hyperbaric systems in the Georgia area. This includes training for new staff members, continued training for current staff member, compliance of all applicable safety codes and completion of preventative maintenance for all of the chambers and their sub-systems. He graduated from commercial diving school in 1977 and worked as a Diver/Life Support Tech for 10 years in the offshore commercial diving field with Taylor Diving. When onshore, Bret also worked at one of the local hospitals in New Orleans that provided hyperbaric therapy, where he took an interest in the clinical applications of hyperbaric medicine. After obtaining an EMT certification in 1987, he accepted a position at Maryland University Hospital's "Shock Trauma" hyperbaric center to start his clinical role as a chamber technician. After 6 years, he made the decision to pursue a management role and accepted a Program Manager position of an eight person Perry multiplace hyperbaric system offered by The Regional Medical Center at Memphis. Prior to his current position with HyperbaRXs, Inc., he accepted a Director role in the opening of The Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian, MS, where he worked for ten years.
